Players of the Week � Apr. 9

Baseball � Position Player

Sam Molski (Stevens Point, WI/SPASH) � The senior hit .550 (11-for-20) with seven runs scored and six RBI's in six games this week. Molski had two doubles, a triple and two home runs in his 11 hits for a slugging percentage of 1.050.

Baseball � Pitcher

Troy Bielmeier (Wautoma, WI/Wautoma) � The senior right-hander threw one-hit shutout against Division II Winona State. Bielmeier also pitched five innings, allowing two earned runs in win over St. Norbert to finish 2-0 for the week. He had six strikeouts and nine hits allowed in 12 innings this week.

Softball

Nicki Bertram (Marion, WI/Marion) � The senior pitcher allowed no earned runs in a complete game 4-1 victory over UW-Platteville. She struck out three, walked two and allowed eight hits to improve to 6-0 for the season.

Men�s Track Events

Ben Treptow (Viroqua, WI) � The junior won the 400 meters at a triangular meet at UW-Oshkosh. Treptow won the event in a time of :51.82. He also ran the fastest leg on the Pointers� second place 4 x 400 meter relay team.

Men�s Field Events

Scott Dreger (Cambria, WI) � The sophomore won the javelin in windy conditions at the UW-Oshkosh triangular meet. Draeger threw a personal best 50.53 meters (165� 9��) in only his second competitive meet entered in the event.

Women�s Track Events

Leah Juno (Brillion, WI/Brillion) � The senior ran a smart race in very windy conditions in a quadrangular meet at UW-Oshkosh. Juno won the 1,500 meter run in a time of 4:54.86.

Women�s Field Events

Jenny Todd (Wisconsin Rapids, WI/Lincoln) � The sophomore recorded a first and a second at the quadrangular meet at UW-Oshkosh. Todd won the long jump with a leap of 5.13 meters (16� 10��). She also placed second in the 100 meters finishing in :12.69.
