Pointer Athletic Postponements Continue

For the fifth consecutive day, UW-Stevens Point has had an athletic event postponed due to inclement weather as the softball team’s Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference showdown at UW-Whitewater was postponed.

All five of the events have been away games, including Tuesday’s softball game, which has not had a makeup date set.

Friday, the baseball game at Augsburg was postponed, moved to Monday, and postponed again. The men’s track meet at UW-Oshkosh was postponed on Saturday and the baseball game at Marian was postponed on Sunday.

Here’s this week’s revised Pointer schedule:

Wed., Apr. 12 – Baseball at Marian, 2 p.m.
Men’s Track at UW-Oshkosh, 4 p.m.
Thurs., Apr. 13 – Baseball at Augsburg, 2:30 p.m.
Sat., Apr. 15 – Baseball at UW-Whitewater, Noon
Softball at Illinois Wesleyan Tournament, 9:30 a.m.
Track at North Central Invitational, 11 a.m.
Sun., Apr. 16 – Softball at Illinois Wesleyan Tournament, TBA
