Lewis Achieves
All-Region Women� s Golf Honors
UW-Stevens Point junior Susie Lewis became the
first women�s golfer in school history to achieve all-region accolades,
earning a spot on the 10-member team selected by the National Golf
Coaches Association.
The Crystal Lake, Ill. native finished the season with an 82.8 average
to lead the Pointers. She had four rounds below 80 among her 14 rounds
this season, including a school-record tying 73 at the Illinois Wesleyan
Invitational on Sept. 18. Lewis was also a first-team all-Wisconsin
Intercollegiate Athletic Conference performer.
UW-Stevens Point ended the season ranked 20th
in the final NCAA Division III rankings. |
