UW-Stevens Point Captures Second Straight Regional Title
Jordan Zimmermann and Mike Thrun combined on a three-hit shutout and Ryan Byrnes slammed a three-run home run as UW-Stevens Point captured its second straight regional championship with a 6-0 win over UW-Oshkosh on Saturday in Wisconsin Rapids.

Zimmermann also had three hits and was named the tournament MVP. The Pointers outhit the Titans 15-3 and advance to the Division III finals at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton on Friday.
