Robert Erickson came to UWSP in 1990. He received his BFA from UW-Oshkosh and his MFA from Illinois State University. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and is in multiple major collections.

Of his work he states, "My images are a poetic response to the natural world. Simple and elegant images of natural objects are created and displayed to evoke thoughts of a child wandering through and around woods, lakes and fields collecting interesting and beautiful things."
