The public is invited to view the portfolio show of the 2012 graphic design class as they present “Acts of Innovation – A 19-Ring Design Circus” on Friday, May 11 from 4-7 p.m. in the Noel Fine Arts Center on the campus of UW-Stevens Point. The event is free of charge and refreshments will be served.
Professors Stuart Morris and Jillian Noble worked as a team to assist these students in preparing for the show. During the semester, the students prepared their portfolios, researched who to send formal invitations to and created an original theme for their show. The students who will be presenting their work to attendees are: Tara Rushmer, Appleton, Rebecca Pytko, Bridgeview, IL, Katelyn O’Brien, New Glarus, Jake Swenson, Stevens Point, Emily Thornton, Albany, Jenny Bauman, Delafield, Emily Jurovic, Sun Prairie, Ellen McCartney, De Pere, Laura Rapp, Roberts, Sarah Miller, Deerfield, Sara Ipsen, Madison, Kayla Konopasek, De Pere, Xander Hollenbeck, Oconomowoc, Caitlin Hartlaub, Fitchburg, Holly Brunner, New Franken, Elin Fahrner, Minneapolis, MN, Mike Butcher, Stevens Point, Thomas Wilz, Clintonville and Brooke VanStraten, Stevens Point.

​Congratulations to UWSP Art & Design student Tom Wilz.  His work was selected to be one of 16 finalists in the Pinup 2012 International Student Graphic Design competition!

Pinup 2012 was assembled as a means to publicly promote the research, exploration and investigation currently happening in academia.
