John Munson shares his love for travel with UW-Stevens Point
Do you remember Professor Emeritus John Munson from one of your classes? John taught a variety of courses along with coaching the wrestling and lacrosse teams. He retired in 2007 after 38 years at UW-Stevens Point.
John has also been very involved in planning international trips through UWSP Adventure Tours. During the last 20 years, John has traveled the world leading groups on wellness adventures providing participants a lifetime of memories. John continues to lead trips today and as he shares his wealth of knowledge and experience with UW-Stevens Point alumni, students and community members.
In 2014, John is leading two Grand Canyon Rafting trips, June 14-21 and July 5-12. With several Grand Canyon rafting trips under his belt, John helps to coordinate the logistics and work with Colorado River & Trail Expeditions to create a safe adventure.
