Other Campus Resources

  • Adult/Non-Traditional Student Information: This group provides information and support for adult/non traditional students such as: child care services, credit earning alternatives, student organizations, and evening and weekend classes.
  • Career Services: This office provides you with career exploration resources, job search information, assessment, employment resources, and a host of other resources available to you on campus.
  • Counseling Center: In addition to the counseling services this office provides, they have workshops that will help you develop your skills for success. The workshops include such topics as: communication skills; relaxation techniques; stress management; study skills; and time management.
  • Credit Earning Alternatives at UWSP: There are different ways to earn credits toward graduation, including: advanced placement; college level examination; credits for prior learning; retroactive credits; and others.
  • Financial Aid and Scholarships: The Financial Aid Office can explain how to apply for aid and offers other materials to help you find ways to finance your education.
  • International Students & Scholars Office (ISSO): This program assists foreign students in achieving their educational objectives and complying with immigration regulations. They also provide leadership opportunities and coordinate the Host Family Program and International Club.
  • International Programs: This programs can help you become a "citizen of the world" by enrolling you in a study abroad program that best fits your needs.
  • Multicultural Student Information: The objective of Multicultural Affairs is to conduct activities and provide services which enhance cultural diversity at UW-Stevens Point. They will provide information on multicultural student organizations, activities and support.
  • Residential Living Academic Support programs: Check out the following programs which assist you in developing and enhancing study skills:
  • Special Needs Student Information: Support and information for students with disabilities and veterans.
  • Student Involvement & Employment: Opportunities for students to find employment on or off campus + other involvement opportunities.
  • Student Organizations: Meet people who have the same interests as you by getting involved in one of the many UWSP student organizations.
  • Tutoring and Learning Center (TLC): This program helps students in all disciplines in their college careers. Senior staff at the TLC help students by matching students' tutoring needs with a tutor interested in or studying the same discipline. The tutors do not provide the answers but work as coaches helping you to help yourself.
  • Wisconsin Covenant – The Wisconsin Covenant is a program designed to encourage students, who enrolled in the program by the start of their freshman year in high school, to begin to plan for college at an early age.  UWSP Scholars receive a monetary grant disbursed through the financial aid office.  Through the UWSP Wisconsin Covenant office, Scholars also receive services designed to improve their success and retention.
