We do ask those who would like to attend a ViewPoint to make a reservation. If you haven't already done so, please visit our main campus visit page to schedule your visit. If you have made a reservation, read on for more information regarding your upcoming visit!


Plan on arriving by 8:30 a.m. We'll direct you to the check-in area. Free parking is available in University Lot X on weekdays; all campus lots are open and free on Saturdays, although Lot X is closest to your destination.  The lots are referenced on your map and driving directions.

Lunch tickets will be sold at the event for $5.00 each. Lunch will be served in the DeBot Center, our main campus dining facility.

Please remember that we cannot guarantee the availability of every academic department.  If you want to make sure that your areas of interest are represented, just give us a call about a week in advance of your chosen ViewPoint date.

Driving Directions to UW-Stevens Point:
Again, free parking is only available in Lot X for Weekday ViewPoints (You will not need to plug the parking meters).  Free parking is available in all campus lots on Saturdays, although we encourage you to park in Lot X.

  • From Green Bay and eastern Wisconsin
    - Take Hwy 29 to Wausau, then I-39/Hwy 51 south to exit 158.  Or take Highway 54 west to Waupaca, then Highway 10 west to Stevens Point. Or take Highway 41 to Appleton, then Highway 10 west from the Fox River Valley to Stevens Point. In the city, turn right onto Fremont Street for Lot X.
  • From Madison and southern Wisconsin
    - Take I-39 north to Stevens Point. Use exit 158-B for UW-Stevens Point and continue west on Highway 10 (Main Street) into the city. Turn right onto Fremont Street for Lot X.
  • From the Milwaukee area
    - Take I-94 west and north to I-39 above Madison. Take I-39 north to Stevens Point. Use exit 158-B for UW-Stevens Point and continue west on Highway 10 (Main Street) into the city.  Turn right onto Fremont Street for Lot X.
  • From Minneapolis/St. Paul and western Wisconsin
    - Take I-94 east and south to Osseo, then Highway 10 east to Stevens Point. In the city, turn left onto Fremont Street and continue about 4 blocks to Lot X.
  • From Wausau and northern Wisconsin
    - Take I-39 south to Stevens Point. Use exit 158, then turn left onto Highway 10 (Main Street) and follow signs for UW-Stevens Point. In the city, turn right onto Fremont Street for Lot X.
