UWSP Reentry Students
How to Apply
  1. Complete and submit the UW System admission application form, available at any Wisconsin high school or UW System admissions office. The UW System electronic application provides an alternative to the written form and allows you to apply on line.

  2. If you have taken college courses since you last attended UWSP, ask each college you have attended to send an official copy of your transcript to the UWSP Admissions Office, 102 Student Services Building, UW-Stevens Point, Stevens Point WI   54481-3897.  (Please Note: We do accept electronic transcripts sent through Docufide and Connect.edu.)
Admission Requirements

Reentry applicants are generally eligible for admission if they have a cumulative grade point average of 2.00 or higher.

Registration Deposit

A $100 registration deposit is required of all admitted reentry students. We will send you a notice regarding the deposit with your letter of admission. This deposit will be applied toward your tuition fees.

Admission of Suspended Students

Reentry applicants who were suspended at the end of their last semester of attendance at UWSP must submit a letter of appeal with their application for admission. The letter must explain why they performed poorly in their courses, how their problems have been resolved, what they have been doing since their suspension, their educational goals, and any other information they believe the Admissions Office should know in considering their appeal. If the appeal is based on extenuating circumstances, appropriate documentation verifying the circumstances should be included with the letter. Applications from suspended students are considered on an individual basis.
