Academic Programs

These pages highlight important information about the academic programs offered at UW-Stevens Point. The program descriptions include information about subjects to study in high school in preparation for college, typical courses and subjects studied in college, as well as employment opportunities and the types of jobs held by graduates of these programs.

The pages were designed as an aid to high school counselors and to assist prospective students in beginning to think about an intended field of study. While some students know early on what subject they intend to pursue in college, others apply for admission undecided about their field of study and enroll as undeclared majors. Either approach is very common.
