Scholarship and Fellowship Awards Available
UWSP Sophomore Scholarship $750 Award
Each spring our UWSP chapter of Phi Kappa Phi awards $750 to one outstanding UWSP sophomore. Eligibility requirements include:
- Sophomore standing (30-39 credits at the end of December 2009)
- GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Full-time student status
- Attendance at the initiation ceremony on April 11, 2010 (unless studying abroad)

National Fellowship Awards
Every year the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi awards fifty-seven Fellowships of $5,000 each and three Fellowships of $15,000 each to members entering their first year of graduate or professional study. Our UWSP chapter selects one candidate from applications submitted to our chapter office to compete for the Society-wide awards.
The deadline to submit your application is noon on Wednesday, February 3, 2010. Turn in your application at the Student Affairs Office, 213 Old Main, UWSP. Fellowship eligibility, instructions, and applications are only available online on the national Web site.
Study Abroad Grants
Phi Kappa Phi Study Abroad Grants are designed to help support undergraduates as they seek knowledge and experience in their academic fields by studying abroad. Forty-five $1,000 grants are awarded each year. In 2006 and 2007, six UWSP students were each awarded a Study Abroad Grant worth $1,000.
