Vision
We are dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives

Mission
The mission of Residential Living is to enhance students’
educational and developmental experiences. We ensure safe,
well-maintained living environments; promote a wellness
lifestyle; and provide outstanding service to our customers.

Our department values:
- the residential on-campus living experience for
students, creating living/learning communities for growth
and learning
- learning and education in support of the academic
mission of the University, as well as life-long learning
- forethought and planning, including knowledge of trends
and future projections in the housing field
- dedication to excellence
- celebration and appreciation of diversity
- wellness, both as a programming model and through
balance in personal and professional lives

Goals
- We will emphasize service to residents in all areas of
Residential Living, while also focusing on the
responsibilities of our residents to our community.
- We will work closely with the Enrollment Management
group when making up our budget projections for the year.
- We will study our reserve situation and work with cuts
to our budget to make the best decisions possible.
- We will continue to support the student governance
process through our house governments, hall governments, and
the Residence Hall Association.
