Values

Orientation is dedicated to student success. We live these values by:

  • Welcoming students and their families who represent diverse ethnic, socioeconomic, and education backgrounds.
  • Providing services to students with disabilities
  • Recognizing and supporting parents who are new to higher education
  • Engaging participants with activities designed to create peer networks for both students and parents
  • Enabling students to identify with UWSP by promoting a sense of personal safety and academic challenge
  • Displaying warmth, positive humor, and a strong service orientation in all that we do
