Our mission statement

The goal of the UWSP Internal Auditing Department is to make a great university better by performing independent reviews of UWSP operations. These reviews are used to determine compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures established by State Government, Federal Government, and UWSP.

While our goal is to ensure compliance with the regulations, policies, and procedures established, it is also our goal to provide management with recommendations to help them implement and maintain strong internal business controls. We encourage management to ask us for assistance in developing internal controls that safeguard university assets.
