Scholarship of Teaching and Learning
Though employed in different ways and to different degrees, the scholarship
of teaching and learning entails basic but important principles… It means
viewing the work of the classroom as a site for inquiry, asking and
answering questions about students' learning in ways that can improve one's
own classroom and also advance the larger profession of teaching.

Classroom challenges become research questions that result in scholarly work
that advances the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
The Center for Academic Excellence and Student Engagement is offering a
scholarship of teaching and learning workshop for the
Advancement of Research
in Teaching and Learning.
The goal of the workshop is to prepare faculty and academic teaching staff
to develop and submit scholarly research in teaching and learning for
publication.
