UWSP Accreditation

"It's all about learning" is the guiding principle of the UW Stevens Point accreditation process and most of what we do on campus.
This principle will be very much in evidence during the self-study process for re-accreditation.
Every ten years, UW Stevens Point engages in a re-accreditation process through the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
With the last re-accreditation team visit occurring in 1998, the next team visit will be in March 2008.
The self-study process will occur during the 2006-2007 year with a comprehensive, campus-wide evaluation of all academic, co-curricular, and administrative activities of the university.
We will study our ability to create the best possible learning environment at UWSP, both inside and outside the classroom.
