The Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry, Paper Industry Manufacture Association (TAPPI/PIMA) Student Chapter is an organization for all students studying Paper Science at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Our chapter is run by an elected body of student officials with support from a faculty advisor. The purpose of this organization is to promote involvement in professional, educational, as well as social activities to students. Support for this chapter is provided by donations from Lake States TAPPI, the UWSP Paper Science Foundation, and also student fund-raising.

Founding of this chapter occurred in February 1975. Participation has grown strong over the years, and now boasts yearly memberships of over one hundred students, ranging from freshmen to senior status. Please use the links to the left to see what we are all about!
