Introduction
Viewing & Printing Tips
  1. Please change the default font of your browser to a sans serif font such as Arial. This will match the fonts used in the equations more closely. To do this with internet explorer, choose the tools menu, internet options, then choose the "fonts" button at the bottom of the general tab, and finally, choose "Arial" for the web page font.
  2. There should be a symbol font resident on your computer. Some examples of symbols used in this document follow (if you don't see them, you will need to install a symbol font). For most computers, this shouldn't be a problem.

  3. If you are presenting the material in front of a class, increase the default font size of your browser so students will have an easier time reading the text of the material. This will help make the size of the text font and that of the font used in the equations more similar as well (the equations are actually pictures).
  4. When printing the pages in Internet Explorer, you can change the size of the document in the print preview toolbar in the drop down box where it says "shrink to fit". Choose a value like 85% and the document will consume less pages.
