Test Scoring

TEST SCORING SUBMISSION POLICY

Over the past several semesters Test Scoring has experienced an increase in the number of problem exams that limit our ability to process all tests in a timely manner.  Beginning spring semester 2001, all exams with the following problems will be returned to the department:

Missing answer key Missing Exam Scoring Request Form Missing student names/missing faculty name Missing student ID numbers/missing faculty ID number Social Security numbers used instead of ID numbers Circles not filled in correctly under the student/faculty name Circles not filled in at all under the student/faculty name Circles not filled in correctly under the ID number Circles not filled in at all under the ID number Exams filled out in ink instead of #2 pencil Doodling in the body of the exam sheet Circles crossed or lined out instead of filled in Computer sheets with holes punched out instead of circles filled in with #2 pencil Computer sheets with horizontal or vertical lines cut through the sheets Computer sheets with coffee or other liquid stains Exam packets submitted with extra blank sheets mixed in with the computer sheets Exam packets submitted with sheets in mixed up order Folded or ripped computer sheets

Once these problems are corrected, the exams may be resubmitted for scanning. We reserve the right to charge a processing fee to compensate for machine maintenance and the increased employee workload if a department persists in submitting exams with the above problems. Please remember: it is your responsibility to submit your exam packet in the correct format.

Exams MUST be submitted in an addressed intercampus envelope. This ensures that computer exam sheets are not accidentally intermingled with other exam packets or lost.  If you do not provide an envelope, you must pick up your scanned exam.  Test Scoring personnel are not responsible for lost or misplaced exam sheets.

Our mission at Test Scoring is to process exams in a timely and accurate manner for all our campus clients. We cannot meet that goal without your help.
