Responsible Use of UWSP’s Remote Access Service (RAS)
RAS is a service provided to UWSP faculty and staff to assist with the
performance of University duties. All regular network use policies, state laws,
and work policies are applicable. Users are responsible for adhering to the
network usage policies which can be reviewed at the following web site:

Examples of violations of the network usage policy include:
- Illegal activity conducted via the Internet or email
- Sending abusive statements or electronic "chain letters"
- Sharing your User ID with someone else including other family members
- Copying University owned and licensed software to another computer without
valid license
- Remaining connected to the University system for an extended period of time
when you are not actively using that connection
- Using the Internet or email to conduct personal or commercial business
transactions or advertise products
