Services for Students called into Active Military Duty
Your UWSP logon and email account will be retained as long as you are
officially enrolled as a student. If you are not enrolled, these services will
be automatically discontinued. To remain enrolled while you are on active duty,
contact Registration and Records which will do the following:
- If a student is called up for service he/she can drop any or all courses for
the term and get a refund for the courses dropped.
- If a student keeps one or
more courses and wishes to maintain email privileges, we will register the
student for COOP 001 (a no credit course) in a section that will have an ending
date a year later. This will be given a subtitle of "military call up". Email
privileges would be tied to the end date of the COOP and this could be extended
further if needed.
