Treehaven Wireless Setup

Wireless access at the UWSP Treehaven location uses a different configuration than the UWSP campus. If you are having difficulty getting connected, please see the troubleshooting steps below.

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Your web browser will automatically redirect to the following web site https://thbluesocket.uwsp.edu. 
  3. Enter your UWSP logon and password in the specified fields and click "Log In".

Troubleshooting Steps for Treehaven Wireless:

Step 1

If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer and receive the following security certificate warning, click "continue to this website (not recommended)"

If you are not automatically redirected or are unable to access the website https://thbluesocket.uwsp.edu try adding the site to your Local Intranet zone by:

In Internet Explorer click Tools - Internet Options

Click the Security tab, select Local Intranet and click the Sites button.

Click the Advanced button.

Type in the following URL http://www.uwsp.edu and then click ADD.

Click Close and OK to close out any remaining open dialog boxes.  Close all open browser windows and then reopen your browser.  You should be redirected to the wireless log on page.
