Seminar:  Help for Family Members and Friends of People who Struggle with Alcohol and Drugs

Date:  Wednesday, May 13th

Dr. Dale Christensen will present strategies for families and friends of those struggling with alcohol and drug addiction.  The seminar will cover basic internal dynamics of addiction, how people struggling with addictions will often use the help offered by family members to perpetuate the additive process, how friends and family members get pulled into the process, and the Top Ten survival points for family members to live by.

Gearing Up for A Healthy Future

Pointers Achieving Wellness (PAWs) is on a mission to provide faculty and staff with current health information, to increase employees' awareness of new health trends, and to offer employees opportunities to engage in making healthy lifestyle choices. 

PAWs' vision is to provide programs and activities that focus on at least one of the 7 Dimensions of Wellness, which include social, physical, emotional, career, intellectual, environmental, and spiritual wellness.
