It is difficult to describe the intense beauty of the Grand Canyon to people who have not experienced it. Most people stand on the rim, look down in amazement and go away saying they have seen the Grand Canyon. Those who raft the entire canyon come away with a very different impression. This trip is for the individual who likes to camp out at night, doesn’t mind getting wet, and loves to develop new friendships, eat great food, take hundreds of photographs, and experience our natural world in its magnificent beauty. It is an extremely safe trip, however, it is suggested for people from the ages of 17-80 who can maneuver around some rocks, hike a mile or two and don’t mind taking a bath in the river. Early registration is necessary as rafting companies have a very limited number of slots for participants. Our UWSP Adventure Tours program has been fortunate to reserve 24 spots for the July 10-17, 2015 trip. These spots are open to participants across the country so they will go fast!
