Graduate Exam Questions

The brain is a highly complex organ. Even with all of our advanced technologies and scientific and medical techniques we still do not fully understand many of the functions and processes of the brain. However, we are beginning to understand some of the mysteries of how the brain takes in and processes information, and how it stores information and creates learning connections. We are also beginning to understand the importance of individual preferences in learning and processing information.

The following automated brain test is simply a test designed to access your learning preferences.
There are no correct answers to the questions! Indeed the test results will not accurately describe your learning patterns unless you answer the questions honestly.

1. You may register with Mindmedia ( there is no charge) and then save the test to a directory on your computer or a floppy disk and then you will be able to run the program and take the test yourself or with friends.

2. Or, from their homepage, click on the logo of Mindmedia, upper left. This will take you to a page with two choices. Click on the question - Do you use your left hemisphere or right hemisphere more? Enter a name, and you will be into the test. However, entering from this door you will have to back out to take the test again.

The test is randomized so that each time you take it the configuration and some of the items will be different. Because it is randomized, you may wish to test several times to see which set of results describes your learning preferences and modalities best. Be sure to go back into the answers at the end of the test to see what the answers mean.  Enjoy!!!

You can access this test readily from the link below, simply follow the instructions for registration and download of "brainworks" from Mindmedia.  Picture (600x428, 30.2Kb)
