Welcome to WebPages of Leslie
Owen Wilson, Ed.D., created
for use for the online course ED 726, Models of teaching and learning.
Material in this site is copyrighted to the author. Beyond usage by registered
students, materials may not be used or duplicated without expressed
permission.
ED 726, MoTL, is an online alternative to ED 721,
Fundamentals of curriculum,
and serves as the fulfillment of the curriculum component within our masters
program. The course is administered through the
Professional
Development Network at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens
Point. If you would like to substitute this course for ED 721
on your Masters' Plan, please contact the SOE graduate office at
715-346-4403 and ask for a change of plan form.
While both ED 726 and ED 721
deal with aspects of curriculum and instructional design and there are slight
overlaps in content, they are different courses so that you may take both.
While
I have designed these pages to
support concepts within my course, and students registered for the class may
peruse on-line support materials, IT WILL BE VERY IMPORTANT to follow carefully
the sequential instructions, and deadlines in the printed course
materials, as well as check the message board on D2L for changes and messages
pertaining to class. Important updates, reminders and messages also
appear on this page below.
Note: Please note that while the Web is
a fantastic treasure trove of information, browsing comes with a warning, as it is
important to remember that the Internet is not a
permanent medium. Frequently sites don't remain active, they move, are busy,
have
trouble with their servers, the phone lines are down, or they just simply
disappear.
If links from this site fail to
appear after repeated tries over a period of time, please contact me and let me know via my e-mail link
below. I know how terribly frustrating it is to click on a hyperlink and get a
"page not found" message. Also, if you find an interesting or informative site related to my topic
headings -- one not already part of my lists, please let me know the address so I can add it.
Thanks!
Have fun browsing!
