Scholarships
Each year, the School of Education awards between $30,000 - $50,000 of scholarship money to recognize students with high scholastic achievement and a dedication to the profession of teaching. For the 2008-2009 academic year, the School of Education awarded 45 scholarships, totaling $45,700. These scholarships have been made possible by people involved and interested in the welfare of education.
Application Timeline: Scholarship information and applications are typically made available by the School of Education Awards Committee in January/February. Applications and detailed descriptions of each scholarship offered are emailed to all students who have declared their intent to teach. Information will also be posted outside of the School of Education Office, 470 College of Professional Studies.
