Picture This section includes information that you may need in your teacher education course of study. Faculty in the School of Education ask that you follow the APA writing/reference style when you prepare formal papers. We have prepared an abbreviated version of APA guidelines for your use. The School of Education Student Handbook is available and offers information regarding certification areas, planning sheets, admission requirements etc. You will find test dates for your admission requirements also posted on this page.

Effective August 2004, all students graduating from teacher education programs at UWSP will be required to prepare a professional portfolio. This portfolio should reflect performance tasks completed through your program of study. Here, you will find those performance tasks listed along with rubrics. You will also find samples of portfolio components, portfolio guidelines and your professional portfolio template.

The School of Education is proud of the support we are able to offer our students through scholarships. Here you can see a listing of scholarships that are typically available each year. We receive applications for the scholarships in the spring semester each year, and the awards are given at our Scholarship Banquet in May of each year.
