Students

The School of Communicative Disorders has an active National Student Speech Hearing Language Association. 

When new graduate students are accepted into the School of Communicative Disorder's graduate program, they frequently write the following positive comments:

• "Fun, friendly faculty, clinical focus, and great physical facility.  My undergrad was wonderful.  The faculty is very friendly and personable.  I didn't want to leave."  

• "I liked the opportunity to work with the schools and the hospital." 

• "Friendliness, connections between staff and students, support system for students, job placement, technology, location, etc."

• "I finally have the news we've been waiting for - Yes I've been selected as a participant for the ASHA Minority Student Leadership Program!"

We are very proud of our students' enthusiasm about their work with us.  Please take the time to review some of the positive recommendations from UWSP Comm Dis Alumni.  All comments below were included with these students' permission:

• "I am very proud of the education that I received in Point.  I knew my education was excellent.  The exposure to many different disorders and school/community settings was so important.  Please let the staff know that I appreciated all the long hours and reports that I had to write.  They did help" (C.
