Dear Graduate School Applicant:

     Thank you for your interest in our graduate program. I am pleased you are considering completing your professional preparation at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

     If you decide to apply, your application will be reviewed by the members of our School of Communicative Disorders (SCD). Your application, however, must be complete by the deadline to be included in the final phase of the review process. Please note that the due date is Wednesday, January 14, 2009. If you are an international student, please let us know immediately and special instructions will be sent to you.   International students must submit applications to the Foreign Student Office.

     Should you wish to be considered for a SCD assistantship, please submit the assistantship application an application with your other materials. If you are interested in a two year Army ROTC Scholarship please contact the Department of Military Science as soon as possible 715-346-3821.

     Since the application is your responsibility, please begin the process as soon as you can. For example, take the GRE exam now. It would also be helpful to inform those who are writing letters of recommendation of the January 14, 2009 deadline.  If you wish to find out if your application is complete, please feel free to contact Christine Zinda at 715-346-2328 or czinda@uwsp.edu.

     A check-off list  of required program application materials is enclosed for your use. Please use it to monitor the submission of your application materials.

     Current tuition and fee information can be obtained at http://www.uwsp.edu/admissions/fees2.aspx or from the Accounts Receivable Office at 715-346-2118. If you have questions about loans or other sources of aid, contact the Financial Aid Office at 715-346-4771.   Please let me know if you would like a current graduate student to contact you regarding housing.
