An Invitation to Exhibit at the 2009 WAEE Fall Conference

The Wisconsin Association for Environmental Education (WAEE) invites you and your organization to join us by exhibiting at the 2009 Annual Fall Conference, October 21-24, 2009. The theme for this year’s conference is “Keeping the EE in Green: To Learn, To Live, To Act” and the conference will be held at the Ramada Convention Center in Eau Claire. We are expecting over 200 participants at this year’s conference and exhibits play a prominent role in educating attendees on the latest in educational opportunities. We are looking for exhibitors and vendors to highlight programs and products related to the “green” movement. We strive to provide conference participants with a variety of exhibits related to environmental education.

WAEE is the statewide non-profit professional organization of environmental educators which supports environmental education through advocacy, networking, and recognition. Our goal is to promote responsible environmental action through education in the classroom and in the community. WAEE strives to be an organization that promotes EE in our state, that supports the work our members are doing, and provides resource information, as well as opportunities for professional growth, motivation and recognition.

The WAEE fall conference serves as an opportunity for members and non-members to participate in educational workshops, sessions, and field trips. Networking opportunities are offered, as are social events. Join us in the beautiful rolling hills and river valleys of western Wisconsin as we look at the role that environmental education has to play in the ever growing “green” movement. The conference will concentrate on how to find resources and teach “green” initiatives, how to model and promote “green” behavior, and how to make your homes, nature centers and classrooms “green”.

To register for an exhibit space, please complete the registration form and return it to WAEE at the address listed at the bottom of the form. Exhibit space is limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Please consider joining us in this exceptional learning opportunity!
