February 13-15 Native American Flute Workshop
Flutes are
designed based on an individual’s anatomy. Each flute is personal and has
its own personal song the owner must find. Not only will you have the
satisfaction of making your own flute, you will be given instruction on how
to play it. No musical experience is required. All you need is the
willingness to work with your hands, exercise your fingers and experience a
form of cultural art indigenous to the North American continent.

February 28-March 1 Parent and Kids Snowshoe Weekend Children and their parent(s) or guardian(s) are invited to an outdoor adventure for a fun-filled winter weekend of family snowshoeing to learn the basic skills needed for this popular sport. April 17-19 Leadership Development: Group Process and Facilitation Workshop Leadership Development is designed to enhance the skills and attributes of today’s leader in education, natural resources, non-profits and small business while preparing for tomorrow’s increasing challenges. This course is grounded in effective principles with emphasis on practical applications. We will concentrate on effective techniques for group creative brainstorming, decision making, and prioritization of ideas. Adapted nominal group consensus building skills, concept mapping and digraphs are some of the specific techniques that participants will practice and learn to apply to their group or team situation.
