Major: Forest Ecosystem Restoration and Management and Forest Management

Hobbies: Enjoying nature in many different ways; Photography, cross country skiing, frissbee, biking, gardening, grouse hunting and fishing on Lake Superior with my dad, the list goes on...., creating things (hats, scarves, mittens, necklaces...)decorating, traveling to new places (Kenya summer '08), listening to music of all types, and spending time with good friends and family.

Involvement at UWSP: I am currently President Elect of Women in Natural Resources and an active member of the Society of Ecological Restoration (SER) and the Park and Recreation Association (PRA). I am a retired treasure of PRA and secretary of Habitat for Humanity (UWSP chapter). In addition to the SSC, I work as an office staff employee at Schmeeckle Reserve Visitor Center and am a faculty assistant for the chemistry department.

Career Goals: Long-term career goals with the USDA-Forest Service as a forest ecologist in Northern Wisconsin.
