Women�s Tennis � UW-Stevens Point 9, Lawrence 0

    UW-Stevens Point won all six matches in straight sets and swept all three doubles matches for a 9-0 victory over Lawrence in a non-conference women�s tennis match Wednesday in Appleton.

The top four singles players for the Pointers all won in both singles and doubles. Singles victories came from Kathryn Pollock at No. 1, Aimee Strebig at No. 2, Amber Wilkowski at No. 3 and Jana Braam at No. 4. Tiffany Serpico also won at No. 5 and Mindy Wallin won at No. 6 singles.

Pollock and Strebig teamed for a win at No. 1 doubles, while Wilkowski and Rachel Ferge won at No. 2 doubles. Braam and Kim Goron won at No. 3 doubles.

UW-Stevens Point is now 4-3 overall and hosts UW-La Crosse Friday at 2 p.m.
