Dear UWSP Alumnus,

You are one of over 70,000 alumni of UW-Stevens Point ... one of the University's most important assets. Our alumni collectively constitute a major force in shaping the reputation of the campus. Our hope is that we can help you stay in touch with former classmates and friends who have graduated from Stevens Point to make their mark, professionally and personally, on the nation and the world.

All of our alums share memories of their years at UWSP and, in turn, have contributed to the success of the campus. We urge you to continue to think of yourself as a vital participant in the future of your alma mater. We always welcome your support, involvement and ideas!

The Alumni Association is here to strengthen the ties between you and your fellow Pointers, and between you and your university home.

How to reach us

Mission Statement

Name: The Association shall be known as the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Alumni Association and shall be renamed automatically to conform to any University name change.

Purpose: The purpose of this Association shall be to establish and maintain a mutually beneficial relationship between the University and its alumni; to promote the interests of the University; and, to further the influence of the University in every way.

Membership: All graduates, and any persons who have attended UW-SP, will be qualified as alumni and will be considered members of the Association. Only graduates will be added automatically, to Alumni Office records; those who attended but did not graduate will be added to Alumni Office records upon request.

Membership Information

As a member of the Alumni Association ...

  • Attend an alumni function in the area in which you live. They're fun and they provide an opportunity to renew old friendships and develop new ones. See the Calendar of Events for what's coming up next!
  • Come back for a visit! Take advantage of Career Services, Continuing Education opportunities, and special events held on campus for all alumni. See our Alumni Benefits page for other ways to stay connected to and help your alma mater!
  • Support the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Assist us in recruitment of high school students in your home town, be a career mentor, or speak to a group of students. Check out the Volunteer Opportunities to learn how you can help.
  • If and when you are able...give to your Alumni Association so we may continue to grow and serve you. Every gift counts!
  • Keep us informed!! We like to hear from you. As a member of the association, you will receive a free subscription to the Pointer ALUMNUS newspaper. But in order for us to send it to you, we must have updated address information on our database. Please stay in touch!
