Student Research Fund

The Student Research Fund (SRF) will provide undergraduate and graduate students with funds to support expenses incurred during the performance of, or in reporting the results of, their independent research.  To be eligible for support from the SRF, a student must be enrolled for a credit-bearing experience at UW-SP when applying for the grant and conducting the research, which typically is a special topics or independent study research class under the direction of a faculty mentor.  Please note there are two different forms for SRF funds--one is for requesting funds to perform research and the other is for travel to present research results.

As an undergraduate student, you are eligible for a one-time research award (maximum $500) and a one-time travel award (maximum $300).  As a graduate student, you are eligible for a one-time research award (maximum $500) and a one-time travel award (maximum $300).
