Teaching and Learning
The Associate Vice Chancellor for Teaching, Learning, and Academic Programs is the chief assistant to the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs in support of teaching and learning, curriculum, and academic programs. Major responsibilities include providing leadership and coordination for professional development related to teaching and learning, the orientation of new faculty and academic staff to the academic community, the General Education Program, the promotion of diversity within the curriculum, the assessment of student learning and accreditation, academic program review, and the creation of new academic programs. The position also serves as the ombudsman for student academic concerns.
